Setting up your Examples

The test environment.

In order for us to write a bespoke suite of maintenance functions for you, we need to set up your own environment. All we need at this stage is your name and email address.
We then send you a user name and password that allows entry to your own test area.
We will also need to know the details of the information that you wish to maintain. We will usually converse with you through email in order to agree the format of the information that you wish to hold.

The maintenance functions.

We can then create the suite of maintenance functions in the test area. We will create up to 5 functions in the test area. These are accessed from the project menu within the test area. We can usually create the functions within a day.
We think that 5 functions is enough to be able to gauge the result.Once created, we can amend the functions, within reason, on request although this is more usually available to customers that have purchased their functions.
If you are happy with the result, let us know the functions that you wish to purchase and we will create an invoice. In order to do this, we will need the name and address details to use.
Once the invoice has been paid, we wil create a new live environment and supply you with a link to it. You get a master user that can authorise which other users can see which projects. Further functions can be developed in the test environment.
The live environment is included in the charge for the functions for a period of one year. If another function is purchased then the period is set to be one year from the date of the purchase of that function. After the year has passed then an annual renewal fee (as detailed in the prices and payments section) will be due to continue the live environment for another year.
In the test area, any information entered will be cleared regularly. This is to stop the test area being used as a live area.
If no-one signs into the test area for 2 weeks it will be deleted and the password will expire. (You can always email us if a project is on hold for some reason and you need more time, or you can simply sign in.)

Move to a live application

Once you are happy with the function, let us know and we will prepare you an invoice. After the invoice has been paid a new live environment is created with your functions in. This is separate from the test environment.
The new area is created without data. In some circumstances we may be able to copy some data in from the test environment if required.
